Stefansgade

This road connects Nørrebrogade with Borups Allé and is one of Nørrebro’s main arteries. Stefansgade is full of activity and life. Even in the winter, the members of “Nørrebro United” run around playing soccer on the fields of Nørrebroparken until late in the evening. As soon as the sun rises, the street is packed with people hanging out at one of the many cafes or coffee shops. The neighborhood is one of Nørrebro’s oldest, and at the end towards Borups Allé you’ll find some of the finest social housing developments, such as Stefansgaarden, designed by Kay Fisker and built in 1944.
