Short description
Tivoli’s most prominent corner was designed by the same architects as the Louvre Pyramid in Paris. Behind its undulating facade, you can find restaurants and get a little peek at the majestic old amusement park.
Description

The appropriately named Tivoli Hjørnet (Corner) is the newest architectural edition to Copenhagen's world-famous Tivoli Gardens. Its swirling glass façade - like curtains draped across a theatre stage – give passers-by just a glimpse of the fun and games within.

Designed by the same architects as the Louvre Pyramid in Paris, Tivoli Hjørnet breathes a new lease of life into an area dominated by heavy traffic and flows of tourists and commuters going to and from Copenhagen's Central Station. Straddling the boundary between Tivoli's majestic 19th century entrance pavilions and Hotel Nimb on Bernstorsffsgade, Tivoli Hjørnet provides, for the first time, an interface between the city and the world's second
oldest amusement park.

The building's angled – yet seamless glass curves, provide partial street cover, allowing its shops, food market and café to spill
out onto the street. Its food market boasts a wealth of global street food possibilities, complimenting Copenhagen's growing notoriety as one of Europe's best foodie destinations.

Towards the building's park-facing side, visitors can access multilevel, terracotta-clad terraces for dining with a view. A garden wall leads the eye to the rooftop, where, for the lucky guests of Hotel Nimb, a lavish relaxation area and swimming pool await.
